Zed Alley Clayhouse group booking 25 - 27th September

£180.00

Members of Zed Alley Clayhouse are invited to join a three-day immersive workshop at Lyde Green Pottery where we will fire a wood kiln—loaded with your own work—reaching temperatures of up to 1300°C. This small but powerful kiln produces beautiful clay body tones and natural ash effects.

Designed for anyone interested in wood firing, this course is ideal for anyone wanting to gain hands-on experience with the full ceramic firing process and discover the exciting potential of small-scale wood-kiln design.

Across the weekend, we'll also cover different firing methods, the science behind them, and sustainable ways of sourcing and selecting wood.

What to Bring
Please bring your own stoneware bisque-fired work 5-10 pieces (grogged clay preferred) and cone 10 glazes.
