Sustainable Makers booking 11-13th September

£200.00

Join us at Lyde Green Pottery for a three-day immersive workshop where we will fire a fast-fire wood kiln—loaded with your own work—reaching temperatures of up to 1300°C. This small but powerful kiln produces beautiful clay body tones and natural ash effects.

Designed for anyone interested in wood firing, this course is ideal for anyone wanting to gain hands-on experience with the full ceramic firing process and discover the exciting potential of small-scale wood-kiln design.

Across the weekend, we'll also cover different firing methods, the science behind them, and sustainable ways of sourcing and selecting wood.
